Funeral Receptions

Funeral receptions, on the grounds of St. Andrew's, can be arranged upon request by the family members (or friends) of the deceased. Volunteers at the parish provide a simple meal, décor, and other basics for family members, and others, following a funeral liturgy.

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed to help plan, staff (as servers), prepare food for, and implement funeral receptions at our parish. We often especially need persons who can/will make a variety of salads and desserts for our receptions. Short lead-time (notice) before a funeral day (e.g., 2 days notice) is very typical. Volunteers are needed to help with:

  • Phone calling
  • Food Preparation
  • Hospitality
  • Set-up and clean-up
