Have you been wondering how to deepen your spiritual life? The spiritual life is a journey toward the God who is love, a process of deepening our relationships with God and with one another. It takes place in the context of the Church community, made up of Christian fellow travelers. We offer retreats, classes on prayer and a variety of reflection opportunities. There is a large selection of books and audio CD’s on spirituality, prayer, and many other topics that can assist you on the spiritual journey.
For those seeking personal one-on-one assistance, spiritual direction may be for you. Check out the information on the spiritual direction page.
The Adult Retreat Ministry seeks to help members of the St. Andrew the Apostle community attend to this longing. We offer a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth and reflection throughout the year.
Upcoming Retreats
A retreat is a time away to be quiet, to pray, to reflect on life and where God is in your life.
The Busy Person’s Retreat is designed to provide an atmosphere of quiet, reflection and adult learning within a supportive community of like-minded adults. It begins on a Friday evening at 6 pm with supper here at the parish and continues Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm with breakfast and lunch included. The cost is $25 to cover the cost of food and supplies.
Dates for the next Busy Person’s Retreat are being planned. If you are interested, contact Cathy Olds.
Members of the retreat ministry team meet monthly to plan and coordinate hospitality for upcoming events and invite any parish member to join this growing ministry. Contact Cathy Olds for more information.
