Adult Faith Enrichment

These courses are offered for adults. They will meet the needs of three specific groups:

  • Our Catechists - All those who volunteer to teach our children and teens. Through these courses you can become certified as a teacher of religion by the Diocese.
  • All Those in Ministry at St. Andrew the Apostle - These courses will provide the Faith formation component for your involvement in ministry.
  • All Parishioners of St. Andrew the Apostle - This program offers an opportunity to come to a deeper understanding of our Faith, and to recommit ourselves to the journey of discipleship.

So you are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets.  Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are built into a holy dwelling place of God in the Spirit. - Ephesians 2:19-22

Spirituality of Ministry

Tuesday, February 19 - 7-9pm - Sr. Bridget Chapman, MM

In Evangelization in the Modern World, Pope Paul VI said, “Evangelization will never be possible without the action of the Holy Spirit.” He goes on to speak of the necessity of a spirituality that is, “rooted in a double fidelity: we must be faithful to the Gospel and faithful to the men and women to whom the Gospel is addressed.” This course will examine the meaning of spirituality, how we nurture our spirituality, and how we fulfill the double fidelity that Pope Paul VI speaks about.

Church: Vision, Mission and Ministry

Tuesday, March 4, 11 - 7-9 pm - Butch Ekstrom

The vision and mission of the Catholic Church will be explored along with the significance of the Second Vatican Council, especially how it applies to living the Catholic faith in the 21st century.
