In April of 2008 ten parishioners from St. Andrew the Apostle went on pilgrimage to Scotland and Ireland.  We visited Iona in Scotland, the holy island where St. Columba built the first monastery outside of Ireland.  It is believed that this is where the Book of Kells was completed.  We also visited Dublin, Glendalough and the site of St. Kevin's monastery, Kildare and the wells of St. Bridget, the Dingle Peninsula, Clonmacnois and the monastery of St. Kairnan and the Arran Islands.  Enjoy these pictures!
