Neighborhood Churches

Neighborhood Churches is St. Andrew's unique way of being church. St. Andrew's is a Catholic faith community, and a very large one, with some 10,000 individuals in more than 3,000 families. To help bring the faith closer to home, St. Andrew's encourages neighbors to gather as small church communities to pray, learn, welcome, care and share as Neighborhood Church. There are geographical and intentional Neighborhood Churches. Be sure to check out our map above and locate your Neighborhood Church. You may also be a member of an intentional Neighborhood Church centered around a common interest or ministry. Time commitments vary.

Small Christian Community I meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month. Single and married adults are invited to join. Call Evelyn Atchison (480) 917-4960.

Neighborhood S consists of residents of Sun Lakes and adjacent areas. The group meets for dinner on the 4th Tuesday of each month at a local restaurant. See the bulletin for upcoming date and location and RSVP information. Twice yearly, the group gathers to celebrate a Mass with Fr. George Daly in the home of one of the group members. In Spring there is a potluck picnic. Group contact is Kay Wirganowicz, (480) 895-3578.
