Caring Ministries provides outreach, bereavement and caring to the St. Andrew's community and beyond. Please view the links to the left to learn more about the Caring Ministries.

Ministries

  • Giving Tree
    : The Christmas Giving Tree provides a happy Christmas to families in the parish and Chandler community who are having difficulties making ends meet.
  • Good Samaritans
    : The Good Samaritan ministry at St. Andrew the Apostle assists those in need.
  • Habitat for Humanity
    : The Catholic Coalition of Valley of the Sun Habitat for Humanity builds homes for people.
  • Mothers Lifeline
    : Mother's Lifeline is an active outreach Ministry designed to meet the needs of mothers of infants and toddlers in crisis situations.
  • Project Hope Floats
    : Project Hope Floats is a non-profit organization with the sole purpose of saving the lives of newborn babies.
  • Adult Bereavement
    : The mission of the Adult Bereavement Group at St. Andrew the Apostle is to provide a safe and understanding environment for those whose loved one has died.
  • Angel Connection / Soulful Craft
    : This ministry provides an important link for individuals and couples who have experienced the death of a child due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or other childhood death.
  • Funeral Reception
    : This ministry provides a meal for families following a funeral here at the parish.
  • BeFrienders
    : A BeFriender Minister is someone who enjoys one-to-one loving, caring ministry. BeFriender Ministers are trained in listening and supportive skills.
  • Ministers of Care
    : Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist visit members of our community who are homebound, hospitalized or in an extended care facility due to illness or age.
  • Ministry of Mothers Sharing
    : Ministry of Mothers Sharing (MOMS) leads a group of women through an 8-week journey of personal and spiritual growth.
  • Parish Nurse
    : Nurses have ministered to those who have faced family illness by being a listening, teaching presence to the families.
  • PrayerLine
    : St. Andrew the Apostle has an active prayer line that prays forthe special intentions of our community.
  • Rainbows
    : A support program for families who are experiencing a change in the family, divorce, death or blending of two families.
