The communications ministry is incharge of all mass communication and external communication for St. Andrew the Apostle. This consists of the following:
The information technology ministry advises, supports and works with the St. Andrew's staff. The ministry is responsible for the parish computer network, software, desktop and server systems, as well as Internet connectivity and services.
A primary function of the information technology ministry is to administer and maintain this website. The website was developed to empower staff and ministry leaders to manage and update their own content. The ministry provides assistance to these individuals and enables new functionaility on the site to aid in the outreach and communication needs of the many ministries at St. Andrew the Apostle.
The parish mailing list is a tool utilized by the communications ministry to quickly get the word out to our parishioners via email. The list is utilized to alert our parishioners of events that happen mid-week.
The communications ministry is reponsible for the weekly creation and assembly of the bulletin. Please view the bulletin advertisers page for information on supporting our bulletin. Want to subscribe to our electronic version of the bulletin? Visit our e-Bulletin signup page!
Throughout the year the bulletin is passed out with inserts in the middle. How did the inserts get there? Parishioners are needed to help assemble the bulletins. They meet on Friday mornings after the 8:30 A.M. Mass.
The Pastoral Pipeline is a publication managed by the communications ministry to provide a communications medium for our ministry leaders. The Pastoral Pipeline is designed to keep these leaders "in the know" and provide assistance and support.
The communications ministry promotes St. Andrew the Apostle via a wide variety of sources. For example, we provide information regarding events at St. Andrew the Apostle to St. John Bosco Interparish School and The Arizona Republic.
