New Parish Director, concerns with formation of ministers.

REAB consensus that this group is in serious formation as an on-going effort / all working towards certification.

Formation discussion / “Ministries, a Parish Guide” discussed.

PAC update from Tanya

Busy Persons Retreat discussed

Updates from Paulette:

Over 1.000 children enrolled.  Some drop-outs from ‘Confirmed” families.  Classes are filling, still room for all grades (not necessarily at the same time, however).  Teachers seem well-prepared.  Finishing Reconciliation on Oct. 29.  Confirmation classes begin in January.  Children’s Mass went great today.  Orfe preparing all dramas this year.  Confirmation assignments will be out early December.  April Board meeting date changed to April 1, 2007.  Nothing to report from Deanery meeting.

Roundtable:

• Karen B.  -  getting 2^nd grade teachers together is difficult.  Will attempt a park meeting so moms can bring children.
• Jim - nothing to report
• Paul - visiting 5^th grade teachers/classes.  Leading Tuesday evening adult group with intent to rotate the leadership of the group.
• Pete - OCIC going well.
• Michelle - Bible Beads questions.  Problem student questions.
• Karen T.  -  Bible beads concerns.  Bible availability for all children.
• Tanya - Extravaganza
• Group discussion on the Christmas Extravaganza scheduled for December 5, 6, 2006 during regular sessions.
