Minutes: Meeting on January 2, 2007
In Attendance: Molly Romine, Bob Klaehn, Pete & Terri Vuyk, Marcia Kennedy, Aimee Phelan, Dave Johnson, Cathy Olds
- The meeting began with soup, salad, sandwiches and prayer
- A good portion of the meeting involved discussion about the pastor transition. Members talked about their concerns and feelings regarding Fr. Joe’s leaving. Cathy answered questions about the process for appointing a new pastor and members offered suggestions for things to incorporate in the parish profile to be sent to the diocesan Priest Placement Board.
- Ministry support and development took up the rest of the meeting time. We reiterated the discussion, from the last BOG meeting, especially the concern to involve more parishioners in the ministries. There was some discussion about having a discussion about priorities for adult ministries for 2007-2008 to be taken up at the next BOG meeting.
Many of the members of this BOG are involved in the New Pastor Transition Committee.
