St. Andrew Golf Scramble

Benefiting Teens in Ministry

The Golf Scramble is the Annual Spring Golf Tournament. The Scramble focus is to enhance development of St. Andrew the Apostle ministries of community and hospitality while contributing to the support of Youth Ministry. All proceeds are contributed to Teen Ministries for Teen Leadership, National Conference attendance, Service Camps and Retreats. St. Andrew teens support the sale of "Premium" Raffle Tickets for several weekends leading up to the tournament, and the activities on the day of the tournament.

The 2012 tournament is scheduled for Saturday - May 5th, 2012 at the Ahwatukee Country Club.

The Tournament is in memory of Msgr. Tom Zazella, a retired priest from the east coast who moved to Arizona. As a priest of St. Andrews he was a parishioner favorite and a believer of the 7-minute homily. Because of Tom's prowess as a golfer a traveling trophy was established in his name for "The Most Golf Challenged Team" of the tournament.
