  A prayer and support ministry for vocations. We meet every other month to plan events that will keep awareness growing in our parish regarding vocations to priesthood and religious life.

Vocations: A Ministry for us All

A study commissioned by the Knights of Columbus revealed that 75% of Catholic young people who had seriously considered religious life felt they were never encouraged to pursue that goal.

Do you know someone who would make a good priest, a good sister, a good musician or other minister? Why not tell him or her so?

Your encouragement may be all they need.

Use the Operation ANDREW card to offer their name to us anonymously. We will contact them and see where it goes from there.

Pray daily for them, and for all who are listening to God to find the path He wants them to follow.

Our Parish Prayer for Vocations

Loving Shepherd and Lord of Life
We pray that through the intercession of St. Andrew the Apostle
Your Holy Spirit will work in the lives of our young people
and help them sense a call from their Heavenly Father.

Encourage them to follow a pathway for their life
that will truly make a difference.

Enkindle in them a gentle prompting
that leads them to discern the path that You have open for them.

Help them to hear your voice.
Give them courage to respond to your call.
Help us as a community to encourage and lovingly support
our young people to choose a vocation of service
that builds up the Body of Christ.

St. Andrew the Apostle, pray for us.
Holy Mary, Mother of the Church, pray for us.
