Caring Ministries
Bereavement Coordinators Needed
Do you have a passion for helping others during their time of grieving? We are forming a team of Bereavement Coordinators to help plan and coordinate funerals as they come about.
Our mission is to help grieving families plan a beautiful and dignified celebration for their loved one.
Duties include:
- Meeting with the family
- Planning the funeral service
- Securing a Sacristan
- Coordinating with the musician(s)
- Being at the funeral to ensure the service goes smoothly.
Training is provided! Not everyone is called to this ministry, but it is absolutely one of the most beautiful and rewarding ministries offered at St. Andrew’s! If you are interested in more information, please email Kathey Osenbau or call (480) 899.1990 x136.
Community Life Ministries
Welcome Ministry
- Do you enjoy meeting new people?
- Is it easy for you to see what people have in common and bring them together?
- Would you like to help new parishioners network within our faith community?
If so, you may enjoy being a part of our Welcome Ministry. The time commitment would be one Saturday evening each quarter at St. Andrew’s for a potluck dinner and great conversation. Nursery Volunteer
We would like to make the nursery available for the Sunday 5:30 pm Mass, however, are in need of volunteers. We are also in need of volunteers for the 9am and 11 am Masses. If you are available for any of these Masses, please email Sandy Guerrero or call (480) 899-1990 ext. 100
Martha’s Maintenance Ministry – Tuesdays with Mary
Do you have a few hours to spare on Tuesday mornings to help straighten up and do light cleaning in the Church? We are a busy parish on Sundays and we need help keeping the Church looking its best. Please call or email Mary Marsh or call (480) 899-1990 ext. 113
Liturgy and Worship Ministries
Video Projection Ministry:
St. Andrew’s is currently looking for people who would like to help serve in our Video Projection Ministry. This ministry helps with projection of song lyrics and video during our weekend Mass celebrations. It is a fairly new ministry and we are seeking individuals who have an interest in helping with video production as well. The Video Projection Ministry uses advanced technology in exciting ways to support the mission of St. Andrew’s.
