Confirmation/First Communion sessions begin in January. All children needing these sacraments should be registered prior to the first session. To be eligible, candidate/confirmandi must be in 3rd grade have attended religious education in the 2010-2011 calendar year and be currently attending religious education this year. Baptism is a requirement prior to receiving Confirmation/First Communion.
As of Jan 1st On-line registration has ended, you will have to come in to the Religious Education offices to register your child.
A copy of the candidate/confirmandi Baptismal Certificate is also needed to complete the registration process. Please stop by the R.E. offices on or after November 1st, 2011 to turn in the baptismal certificate and/or registration. If you have already registered, but not yet turned in a copy of the baptism certificate, please do so before December 15th, 2011.
There is a $45.00 material fee for these sacraments.
Celebration of the Sacrament
We have yet to receive dates from the Diocesan Office of Worship. When we have that information we will post it.
Schedule
Candidates and families must attend a total of six sessions in order 1-6. There will be two gatherings offered for each session either the Friday gathering or Sunday gathering- the choice is yours.
